For Knotty Alder Wood Blinds, we can custom match any stain you desire. Here is how it works:

You provide
us with a sample of the stain you like.

The factory does a custom stain match using their own high quality stains.

The factory ships color samples on pieces of alder to you for approval. If
the color needs adjusting, they take another pass at it until it is right (most are approved 1st pass).

Once we receive your approval, the factory stains your shutters with the custom stain.
There
is a one-time flat fee surcharge of $300 for this service. Include your name and mail your sample to:

Stained Wood Variations: Due to the fact that wood is a natural product, wood grains
and color tones vary. This is what makes wood stains so beautiful. Stained
shutters will have similar variations in color tone and grain pattern - which of course is why people love stained wood. Your shutters may also have these variations from the stain samples you receive.
