Shipping outside of the continental United States:
Standard ground shipping is free on most orders within the continental United States: Shipping is free for wood
blinds. For shipping charges for plantation shutters (if any) see the Pricing page.
For
any shipment outside of the continental United States, additional shipping must be charged. Any
taxes, duties, or tariffs remain the responsibility of the client. The HS code given to wood blinds and plantation shutters by the United States International Trade
Commission is 4421.90.30.
International shipping can be accomplished by:

Shipping to a freight forwarding company of the
client's choice located within the continental United States.

Shipping
directly to the client's international ship-to address.

Shipping to a Freight Forwarding Company
For
this option, the factory ships directly to a freight forwarding company of the client's choice. If the freight forwarding
company is located within the United States, no international shipping fees are charged by us. The client then has the packages
forwarded to their own address by the freight forwarding company. This option is usually less expensive if
the client has the packages shipped to them by boat. For weight estimations, the following guidelines can be used:

Shipping Directly to the Client's International Ship-To Address
For this option, the factory ships directly to
the client's international ship-to address. To make certain that we do not overcharge shipping, we contact
our shipping companies, for exact pricing for each individual order. To do this
we first take the order and place it on hold. We then contact the factory with
the details of the order to get an exact price. Then, we contact the customer with the shipping cost that was given to us.
We do not charge the customer’s credit card until we have their full approval for the total price of the order, including
shipping. International shipping is expensive. For example, shipping a single wood blind to Europe can cost $350, and shipping
a single set of plantation shutters to Australia can cost $500 or more.

you would like an estimate for shipping by UPS, please email us the following information:

full ship to address, including postal code.

The
size of each window opening.

The
product in which you are interested. If you are interested in plantation shutters, please let us know BOTH
the specific type of plantation shutters (PolyCore, Basswood, etc.) and the number of shutter panels you would like in each
window (also called hinge configuration). This will allow us to calculate package weight and size.
If
your ship-to address is outside of the continental US, you can still place your order on-line if you desire. If you
order on-line, additional shipping will NOT be automatically added to your order or charged to your credit card.
We will charge your card upon your approval of actual shipping cost as explained above.
